I offer 30 and 60 min private piano and theory lessons taught from my home in Allbrook and North Boyatt, Eastleigh. Theory lessons may also be done online. While I mostly teach from my home studio, I am able to travel to you. This will depend on where you are and travel costs will apply. For further information, please contact me.

Should you require a different lesson length, please get in touch I will do my best to accommodate this. The minimum lesson time I offer is 30 mins.

If you are a beginner or casual learner, I recommend starting with 30 minute lessons. Once reaching grades, 30 min lessons are still viable up until grade 5. From grade 5 onwards I highly recommend 60 min lessons due to there being a big step up and much more detail to cover.

I have extensive experience covering ABRSM and Trinity examining boards should you wish to take piano exams. I highly recommend taking theory lessons, as I believe it is essential to have a theoretical understanding of music. For ABRSM it is a requirement to complete the Grade 5 theory exam in order to take exams from Grade 6 onwards. Regardless of examining body, my students have seen significant improvements to their playing as a result of music theory.
